Experience of effective education using old equipment in the basic electrical practical training
For this reason‚ the training course is intended to make the educators understand the contents essentially‚ and then to experience the instruction methods.
In the curriculum‚ we prepared a lot of characteristic sites for exercises and study tours along with the purposes of the training course.
In addition to the practical exercises concerning electrical and electronic circuits‚ relay and PLC programing‚ robot-related subjects and driving of rotating machines using an inverter‚ visits to factories becoming actual worksites for the educators to carry out assembly of robots and automobiles were included in the curriculum so that the training course may be conducive to the development of educator without being detached from actual worksites.
In addition‚ we included in the training course the exercises for electrical and electronic circuit simulation program and control system dynamic simulation program as a measure whereby the participants and their students could conduct experiments without using any device.
As the results of implementation‚ unexpected difficulties appeared‚ for example‚ some participants needed more careful guidance by grouping because there was a wide differences in the experiences and qualifications of the participants.

Actually‚ the participants did not file any request for improvement of the curriculum‚ however‚ I found some points to be modified‚ so I am planning to provide a better training course next year by making such modifications.
